Our tincture is 100% whole reishi fruiting bodies grown on our farm, paired with elderberries harvested at full ripeness from own agroforestry systems. The reishi we grow is Ganoderma lingzhi — the true East Asian medicinal species behind two thousand years of use as lingzhi and reishi. G. lingzhi carries the higher triterpene content, and we grow it deliberately for this reason.
We extract ultrasonically. Sound waves collapse microscopic bubbles against the cell walls, breaking through the chitin and pulling the compounds out directly instead of relying on heat and time to do it. That gets us both sides of the medicine — the water-soluble beta-glucans and the alcohol-soluble triterpenes — in balance, in a single controlled process, at lower temperature and with less degradation. It also means every bottle comes out the same. We add extra mushrooms to the batch so you get the highest dosage per bottle.
