Daily Four is a blend of four medicinal mushrooms — shiitake (Lentinula edodes), oyster (Pleurotus ostreatus), reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), and lion's mane (Hericium erinaceus) — formulated to cover a broad range of everyday support in a single daily dose. Shiitake and oyster contribute beta-glucans, polysaccharides studied for their role in immune function. Reishi has a long history of traditional use as an adaptogen. Lion's mane contains hericenones and erinacines, compounds that may stimulate nerve growth factor (NGF), which plays a role in the growth and maintenance of brain and nerve cells.
Research into these mushrooms describes potential benefits including:
Immune system support and modulation
Cardiovascular and healthy cholesterol support
Stress resilience and improved sleep quality
Memory, focus, and cognitive function
Nervous system support and brain plasticity
Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity

Add ½ to 1 teaspoon per person daily to coffee, smoothie, broth, or anything you are cooking! the importance is in regular intake of the mushrooms into the body.
Our powders are ground to a medium fineness. We grind in small batches rather than running them through a high-speed mill, which keeps the heat down and gives the powder less surface exposed to air on the shelf. The tradeoff is that some sediment settles out in hot drinks — stir it back in, or drink it down. It's mushroom, not filler.

We only use the mushrooms we grow on our small family farm! Many other products contain mushrooms from unknown origins and are often powdered or even grain-based mycelium which convey less benefits. See our info hub for more.

Because mushroom powder doesn't dissolve. The cell walls are chitin, and the beta-glucans that do most of the medicinal work aren't water-soluble at coffee temperatures. What you get is a suspension, not a solution, and some of it will always settle. Grinding it finer at home won't change that — you'll just get finer grains at the bottom of the cup.
The powders that do vanish cleanly into a drink are usually one of two things: spray-dried extract powders, where the insoluble material has already been filtered out, or mycelium grown on grain, which is largely starch. Grain flour dissolves. Mushroom doesn't. Ours are whole fruiting bodies ground to a medium fineness.
Ways to work with it:
A milk frother or small blender keeps it suspended far better than a spoon. This is the single biggest improvement most people find, and it takes ten seconds.
Fat helps. Cream, oat milk, a latte, butter or coconut oil blended in — the particles stay put much better than in black coffee.
Blend it into a smoothie. Banana, nut butter, yogurt, or oats all carry the texture without you noticing it. This is the easiest daily route for most people.
Stir it into food instead of drinks. Soups, broths, chili, pasta sauce, oatmeal, and scrambled eggs all take a teaspoon without complaint. In a long-simmered broth you're also getting a real extraction while you cook.
Brew it with your coffee. Add a teaspoon to the grounds in your filter or French press rather than to the finished cup. No sediment at all, and our medium grind is an advantage here — superfine powder tends to blind a filter. You get a partial extraction rather than a full one, but it's a good trade for convenience.
Decoct and strain. Simmer a heaping teaspoon in a cup of water for 15–20 minutes, strain, and use that liquid however you like. More work, but you pull out more of the water-soluble compounds than any other method here.
Or just drink it down. Stir the settled portion back in. The sediment is mushroom — it's the part you paid for.
